It All Starts Saturday, April 18th!

Distract & Craft is a social crafting hangout.
It is designed by ADHD artist Martha Valenta.
We’re neurospicy-friendly, and open to everyone 18+.

It's really just about making things together — because working on projects side by side is more fun than doing them alone. We need more analog, creative time where things don't have to be perfect. No grades, no critiques. Just having fun like we did at summer camp.

You’ve got two ticket options for each event:

  • A $5 Bring Your Own Craft option for anyone who wants to work on their own project

  • Or a fresh, beginner-friendly craft with all the materials & supplies ready for use (price varies by craft)

There's lightweight guidance available — not a “class”, just enough help to get you started or help when you’re stuck — and the crafts are chosen specifically because you can do them while distracted and talking.

Distract & Craft takes place at The Commons at MADE Makerspace in St. Louis. No experience needed, no pressure, no small talk required.
